Dear Parents and Guardians, As we approach the holiday season and the end of the semester, I want to take a moment to thank you for your unwavering support and commitment to your child’s success at Jose A. Valdez High School. Our mission is to provide a second chance for students who have faced challenges, helping them recover credits and stay on the path to graduation. We are incredibly proud of their determination and resilience as they continue to overcome obstacles and work toward their goals. The holiday break is an excellent opportunity for students to recharge and spend quality time with loved ones. However, it’s also important to keep their momentum going. We highly encourage students to take advantage of the SIXTEEN DAYS they will be home to continue working on their credits. Friedly reminder that credits can be worked on at home and at any time during the day or night,. In years past, students have really taken advantage of this opportunity and have made huge advancements in finishing their credits. We encourage you to take some time over the break to reflect on the progress your child has made and set goals for the new year. Our teachers and staff remain dedicated to creating a supportive environment where every student can thrive. However, parent involvement and motivation play a vital role in student success. By staying engaged with your child’s academic journey, encouraging regular attendance, and maintaining open communication with our staff, you help us ensure their continued success.
